Envelhecer faz parte da vida. Tornar-se velho é uma escolha.
Envelhecer significa apenas que o tempo passa e que os anos se acumulam. Ser velho é permitir que a idade apague a curiosidade, os sonhos e a vontade de viver.
Eu conto chegar aos cem anos — aliás, foi esse o contrato que fiz com a vida. Se ela não cumprir a sua parte, depois logo trato de reclamar a devida indemnização! 😂
Mas, acima de tudo, quero chegar lá com uma alma leve e bem-disposta. Quero continuar a rir, a maravilhar-me com as pequenas coisas e a olhar para o mar iluminado pela lua, imaginando que as suas águas são feitas de prata.
Porque a verdadeira juventude nunca esteve na idade. Sempre esteve na forma como escolhemos olhar para a vida.
