Foi então que ouvi a Consuela dizer, muito indignada:
— Alberto! Isso é que não!
Corri para a sala.
Lá estava ela.
De mãos na cintura.
A discutir… com uma parede.
Perguntei:
— O que aconteceu agora?
Ela respondeu:
— O Alberto quer mudar de casa.
Fiquei a olhar para ela.
— Um fantasma… quer mudar de casa?
— Claro! — respondeu ela. — Diz que aqui já não aguenta.


Capítulo 30 – Hoje Aconteceu-me Uma Daquelas Coisas… O Alberto Tentou Mudar de Casa😅

Hoje aconteceu-me uma daquelas coisas…
Acordei com um silêncio estranho.
Estranho mesmo.
Nem a Consuela falava.
Nem o aspirador suspirava.
Nem os móveis pareciam preocupados.
Foi então que ouvi a Consuela dizer, muito indignada:
— Alberto! Isso é que não!
Corri para a sala.
Lá estava ela.
De mãos na cintura.
A discutir… com uma parede.
Perguntei:
— O que aconteceu agora?
Ela respondeu:
— O Alberto quer mudar de casa.
Fiquei a olhar para ela.
— Um fantasma… quer mudar de casa?
— Claro! — respondeu ela. — Diz que aqui já não aguenta.
Achei aquilo um bocadinho injusto.
O Alberto sempre me pareceu um fantasma muito educado.
Mas a Consuela explicou:
— Diz que vive constantemente em sobressalto.
Perguntei:
— Sobressalto porquê?
Ela respondeu, muito ofendida:
— Porque nunca sabe onde vão aparecer os móveis!
Confesso…
Ri-me.
O pobre do Alberto já decorou esta casa umas cinquenta vezes…
…e todas estavam erradas.
Sempre que pensa:
“Finalmente sei onde fica o sofá…”
…a Consuela muda-o para a parede do lado.
Imagino o Alberto, durante a noite, a passear pela casa…
…e a bater de frente numa cómoda que ontem não estava ali.
A certa altura ouvi um suspiro.
Tenho quase a certeza de que era o Alberto.
Ou então era o aspirador.
Também anda muito sensível.
A Consuela tentou convencê-lo:
— Alberto… fica.
Prometo que durante uma semana não mexo em nada.
Nesse preciso momento…
Olhou para uma estante.
Franziu a testa.
E murmurou:
— Embora… esta estante ficasse muito melhor na outra parede…
Tenho quase a certeza de que o Alberto fez as malas.
Mas depois desistiu.
Afinal…
Encontrar outra casa com uma Miúda Gira, uma Consuela, um aspirador em burnout e um frigorífico que finge não ouvir…
Também não deve ser fácil.
E, convenhamos…
Até os fantasmas precisam de um bocadinho de estabilidade.
O problema…
É explicar isso à Consuela.

  1. Ah, I remember Alberto the ghost, but I didn’t know that he has the propensity of moving furniture so often, to the dismay of Consuela. This is a problem, indeed, especially when one would like a comfortable seat upon which to sit – but, where is the sofa? Hmm… they’ll have to come to terms and agree on some rules, as where would Alberto go, if he left home? It seems like a frustrating dilemma, though I’m sure that Consuela, specializing in relations with the Supernatural, will find the best solution. I love your writings, my dear Carla, hope that all is well and send a big hug for you! 🌻🥰✍🏼👻💖

      I’m so glad you remember Alberto! 😁 The poor guy is so confused lately—I think he might be going through his teenage years, but I’m not entirely sure because he’s so shy and I never actually see him! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
