— Fenando, estás a pensar colaborar?
— Claro, chefe. Estou a colaborar moralmente com a tua greve.
— MORALMENTE?!
— Sim. Estou a apoiar-te sem fazer qualquer esforço físico. É a minha especialidade.
Carla ajeitou a almofada e declarou:
— Muito bem! Eu fico neste sofá até haver colaboração efectiva. E quero café servido à mesa!
João e Fenando trocaram um olhar cúmplice.
— Miau — murmurou o gato.
PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!
Jacks saltou do sofá. João deixou cair a chávena.
— PRIMEIRA TAREFA: TODOS A TRABALHAR! — gritou a chefe.
— Fenando! — chamou Carla.
Ivan abanou a cabeça.

Carla Milho, a Chefe da Máfia do Clube do Café ☕😅

Versão em inglês

The Coffee Club Mafia☕😅 — The Boss’s General Strike and the Union of the Lazy!

That morning, the headquarters of the Coffee Club Mafia was rocked by an announcement that immediately went down in the organization’s historical archives.
Carla Milho stood up, placed her hands on her hips, and declared—at a volume loud enough to wake the neighbors in the building next door:
“ATTENTION! AS OF THIS MOMENT, I AM ON A GENERAL STRIKE! I’M NOT DOING ANOTHER THING UNTIL EVERYONE STARTS PULLING THEIR WEIGHT!”
João Milho, who was comfortably settled in a chair with a cup in his hand and zero tasks completed, choked on his coffee.
“Boss, is that even allowed?!”
“João, what *should* be allowed is me throwing the to-do list at your head!”
Carla settled onto the sofa, crossed her arms, and pulled Jacks close to her.
“You shall be my personal bodyguard. No one gets near without authorization!”
Jacks, drooling and proud, sat in a vigilant posture… for exactly eleven seconds. Then, he rolled onto his back and began to snore.
“Excellent security!” remarked Fenando, without lifting his head from the cushion. “If there’s an invasion, the burglar would at least have to ask his permission to step over him.”
Carla shot him a withering glare.
“Fenando, are you planning on helping out?”
“Of course, Boss. I’m providing moral support for your strike.”
“MORAL support?!”
“Yes. I’m backing you without exerting any physical effort whatsoever. It’s my specialty.”
Meanwhile, João approached the sofa, looking rather suspicious. “Boss, what if we held a little meeting to negotiate an end to the strike?”
“Excellent! Start by doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and making dinner.”
João immediately backed down.
“On second thought, I think the strike should continue. It’s important to respect workers’ rights!”
Ivan, who had been watching this farce with the patience of a burnt-out psychologist, sighed:
“We’ve got a boss on strike, a dog that can’t stay awake, and a cat that has turned laziness into an ideology. And now João has just joined the protest against work!”
Carla adjusted her cushion and declared:
“Very well! I’m staying on this sofa until there’s some actual cooperation. And I want coffee served at the table!”
João and Fernando exchanged a knowing look.
“Meow,” the cat murmured. “I think we can keep this strike going for months.”
That was when Carla grabbed her whistle.
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Jacks leapt off the sofa. João dropped his teacup. Fenando mysteriously vanished beneath a blanket, and Ivan sprang to his feet.
“FIRST TASK: EVERYONE TO WORK!” the boss shouted.
In less than ten seconds, João was in the kitchen, Ivan was organizing the to-do list, and Jacks was scrambling to find a mop.
Fenando remained under the blanket.
“Fenando!” Carla called out.
“I’m on a ‘work-to-rule’ strike, Boss. I can’t abandon my post!”
Carla took a deep breath, sat back down, and muttered:
“One of these days, I’m going to open a coffee company—just so I can fire the whole lot of you!”
Ivan shook his head.
“Boss, with this crew, even firing us wouldn’t be easy. João would mistake the exit for the entrance, and Fenando would demand his severance pay in cans of tuna.”
And so ended the first general strike of the Coffee Club Mafia: with the house passably clean, the coffee served, and the boss discovering that her greatest enemy wasn’t some criminal organization…
It was collective laziness—with João Milho as honorary president and Fenando as director for life! ☕🤣
