A maçaneta rodou lentamente.
Ouvi a voz trémula do Alberto:
— Essa fotografia não pode existir!
— Conheces o homem? — perguntei.
— Conheço a voz dele. Mas é impossível!
A Consuela levou as mãos à cabeça.
A chamada terminou.
— Claro, Sherlock! — resmungou a Consuela.
«Amanhã, vais finalmente conhecer-me.»
O Alberto ficou em silĂŞncio.
Eu suspirei.

Com carinho,

Carla,

As confissões de uma miúda gira 🥰❤️

The Chronicles of a Cool Girl — Chapter 160 👻The man who shouldn’t have come back!

The doorknob turned slowly. I hid behind Consuela, who was brandishing her dust rag like a sword.
“If we survive this, I’m demanding compensation for psychological trauma!” she grumbled.🤣🤣🤣
The door opened, but there was no one there—only a black envelope with my name on it.
Inside was an old photograph of Alberto, Francisca, and a man whose face had been torn away.
On the back, it read:
“One of you is already dead. The other should never have been born.”
“Great!” I exclaimed. “My life has turned into a soap opera written by someone who desperately needs some sleep!”
I heard Alberto’s voice, trembling:
“This photograph shouldn’t exist!”
“Do you know the man?” I asked.
“I recognize his voice. But that’s impossible!”
Consuela clutched her head.
“He recognizes the voice of a man with no face! I honestly can’t tell if I live in a house or a paranormal circus!”
Suddenly, the phone rang. I answered.
A man’s voice whispered:
“Carla, don’t trust Francisca. And don’t let Alberto remember who I am.”
The line went dead.
Jacks hid in the laundry basket, while Fernando climbed onto the table, claiming he needed a better vantage point for his investigation.
“Sure, Sherlock!” Consuela muttered. “And I need a better vantage point to toss you out the window!”
I looked at the photograph again. Beneath the torn-away section, there was a date: tomorrow.
At that very moment, a message arrived:
“Tomorrow, you’ll finally meet me.”
Alberto fell silent. I sighed.
“Consuela, I need a vacation, a psychologist, and maybe a new family.”
“I need a deserted island!” she replied. “No ghosts, no mysteries, and—above all—no phones!”
📢Consuela’s Report 📝
Mysterious man: faceless and with far too many secrets.
Alberto: quiet—which is highly concerning.
Fernando: a detective with a penchant for climbing.
Jacks: hiding in the laundry.
The Cool Girl: considering moving to another planet.
Consuela: officially fed up with this paranormal nonsense.
Conclusion: tomorrow, we’re going to meet the man. If he shows up without a head, I quit! 🤣
