In adulthood, this emotion fuels an illusory competition and creates a false narrative—the idea that the people we care about no longer have room for us in their lives.

The Monster of Jealousy: Insecurity That Distorts Reality
Jealousy acts much like an invisible monster growing within us, reaching enormous proportions and completely distorting our perception of reality. In adulthood, this emotion fuels an illusory competition and creates a false narrative—the idea that the people we care about no longer have room for us in their lives. In our attempt to shield ourselves from an imagined rejection, we end up closing ourselves off and pushing away those we love the most. Ultimately, jealousy says very little about others and almost everything about our own insecurities; therefore, acknowledging this fear of loss is an essential first step toward restoring trust and building healthier relationships.
Just then, in walked Jacks, wearing a cape and a badge he’d bought online: SUPER-JACKS — HEAD OF SECURITY FOR THE BROTHERHOOD!
Capítulo 180 — O Crachá, a Pista e o Tenor Descontrolado! 😂
— ALBERTO! ESTOU A PENSAR! — berrou Fenando. — E EU ESTOU A SOFRER ARTISTICAMENTE! — Onde fica?! — Não me lembro! E recomeçou a cantar. Jacks ajeitou o crachá. — Muito bem! A entrada no laboratório vai custar três bolachas! Fenando suspirou. 👻Alberto: «O laboratório… a invenção… o segredo… O SOOOOLE MIOOOOOOO!»

The Chronicles of Fenando, Jacks... and Alberto Chapter 180 — The Badge, the Clue, and the Unhinged Tenor! 🤣
Sherlock Fenando was examining the photograph found in Francisca’s house when he discovered an inscription on the back: “The true heir shall find the invention where it all began.” “VOILÀ! EUREKA! We must find Alberto’s father’s laboratory!” Just then, in walked Jacks, wearing a cape and a badge he’d bought online: SUPER-JACKS — HEAD OF SECURITY FOR THE BROTHERHOOD! “The investigation is now officially under my protection!” Fenando rolled his eyes. “Does your badge also certify a complete lack of common sense?” “Envy is a very ugly thing, Sherlock Whiskers!” Alberto began to float in circles and belted out a thunderous: “O SOOOOLE MIOOOOOOO!” “ALBERTO! I’M TRYING TO THINK!” Fenando shouted. “AND I AM SUFFERING ARTISTICALLY!” The note was so high-pitched that Jacks dove behind the sofa. “ALERT! SONIC ATTACK! Protect the Head of Security!” “YOU ARE the Head of Security!” Fenando yelled. “Precisely! I must protect myself first!” Suddenly, Alberto stopped. “Wait! The laboratory! My father used to take me there when I was young!” Fenando’s eyes went wide. “Where is it?!” “I don’t remember!” And he started singing again. Jacks adjusted his badge. “Very well! Entry to the laboratory will cost three cookies!” Fenando sighed. — We’ve got a historical mystery, an off-key ghost, and a dog who’s turned the investigation into a pastry business! 💭 Thoughts from the gang Fernando: "I’m going to find the lab before this dog starts charging VAT on the cookies." Jacks: "Security comes at a cost. I accept payment in croquettes." Alberto: "The lab… the invention… the secret… O SOOOOLE MIOOOOOOO!" To be continued...🐱🐶👻🤣
And when it arrives, it’s like having a massive, four-door wardrobe right in the middle of the living room—there’s no space left for anything else! 😂

When shyness takes up too much space😊
We all have days when shyness decides to move in without asking for permission. And when it arrives, it’s like having a massive, four-door wardrobe right in the middle of the living room—there’s no space left for anything else! 😂 Sometimes, just being around people we don’t know very well is enough to make us overthink everything: what we say, what we do, and even the way we breathe. Yes—when our minds want to make things complicated, they won’t even let the air we breathe in and out go unscrutinized! But the truth is, we don’t need to be perfect, nor do we need to please everyone. It’s okay to be shy, a bit clumsy, or even to say something completely nonsensical every now and then. After all, we’re human—we aren’t contestants in a social elegance pageant! Little by little, let’s learn to give less space to shyness and more freedom to who we truly are. Life is already complicated enough without us having to ask for permission just to exist. And if shyness insists on taking over the whole house, perhaps it’s time to show it the door. I can’t promise it will leave on the first try… but you can always tell your inner critic to pack its bags, too!😂🤣
Consuela, already at her wit’s end and taking the anti-anxiety medication prescribed by her doctor, sighed:
“My dear, I have no idea. All I know is that if this keeps up, I’m going to need a vacation, therapy, and a house with no ghosts!”
Capítulo 158 📞 Um telefonema e muitos parafusos soltos! 🤣
— A flor reagiu. Do outro lado, uma voz masculina respondeu: — E se ela descobrir quem fechou a porta naquela noite? Francisca empalideceu. E desapareceu. — Lá vai ele outra vez! — resmungou a Consuela. — exclamei. — Um detective e um estendal ambulante! De repente, o meu telemóvel vibrou. Número desconhecido. A mensagem dizia: «Pergunta à Francisca quem fechou a porta naquela noite.» Fiquei gelada. A Consuela deixou cair a chávena. — Pronto! Alguém me arranje um emprego numa ilha deserta! 🤣

The Chronicles of a Cool Girl 🥰❤️— Chapter 158 📞 A phone call and a whole lot of craziness! 🤣
At her place, Francisca picked up the phone and dialed an unknown number. “The flower has reacted. Alberto is starting to remember something… We have to act before she uncovers the secret!” On the other end, a man’s voice replied: “And what if she finds out who closed the door that night?” Francisca turned pale. “Don’t you ever mention that night again!” She hung up and gave a sinister smile. Even the flowers seemed to get nervous! Meanwhile, at my place, I was staring up at the ceiling. “Tell me something: is this just a phase in life, or have I been cast as the lead in a show about lunatics?” Consuela, already at her wit’s end and taking the anti-anxiety medication prescribed by her doctor, sighed: “My dear, I have no idea. All I know is that if this keeps up, I’m going to need a vacation, therapy, and a house with no ghosts!” Just then, I heard Alberto’s voice: “I must return to the Beyond! I’m so close to remembering who that man was!” And with that, he vanished. “There he goes again!” Consuela grumbled. “This ghost has racked up more trips than a travel agent!” Fernando and Jacks were trying to come up with a solution. The former was blinking, deep in thought; the latter appeared with a sock in his mouth. “Extraordinary!” I exclaimed. “A detective and a walking clothesline!” Suddenly, my phone buzzed. An unknown number. The message read: “Ask Francisca who closed the door that night.” I froze. “What door? What night? And why can’t anyone in this story just talk like a normal person?!” Then, Alberto’s voice was heard—coming from the Beyond—in a desperate cry: “CARLA!” Consuela dropped her teacup. “Great! Now we’ve got a mysterious door, a man with no identity, and a ‘Carla’ thrown into the mix! Someone get me a job on a deserted island!” And, far away, Francisca received a new message: “She knows now. It’s time for you to wake him up.” Francisca turned off the screen. And smiled. 📋 Consuela’s Report 📝 Francisca: dangerous down to the very last strand of hair. Mysterious man: still no photo, and no shame when it comes to scaring us. Alberto: lost in the Beyond, shouting his head off. Fernando and Jacks: on the case—though one of them eats socks. Pretty Girl: convinced she’s surrounded by lunatics. Consuela: considering a move to an island with no phones, ghosts, or family. Conclusion: if anyone says, “I have something to tell you,” I’m running away. In this house, it’s never just to tell a joke! 🤣 To be continued...😉🤣
Excellent!” Carla replied.
Fernando, settled on the sofa, didn’t even look up.
“I suggest we bring a helicopter. And a will.”
The next day, João showed up equipped with boots, a backpack, and eleven energy bars.
— Excelente! — respondeu Carla. Fenando, instalado no sofá, nem levantou a cabeça. — Eu sugiro levar um helicóptero. E um testamento. No dia seguinte, João apareceu equipado com botas, mochila e onze barras energéticas. — Estou pronto! Onde está a montanha? — À nossa frente, génio! — respondeu Carla. Carla respirou fundo. — Amanhã fazemos uma caminhada tranquila! João sorriu. — Com escalada pelo caminho? — JOÃO, VAIS SUBIR A PÉ… 🤣☕⛰️

Boss Carla Milho gathered the team in the living room, a whistle around her neck and the look of someone who had already made dangerous decisions before breakfast. “Tomorrow, we’re going climbing! I want discipline, endurance, and team spirit!” João Milho jumped for joy so hard he nearly hit his head on the light fixture. “CLIMBING?! I was born for this, Boss! I’ll reach the top before anyone else!” Ivan, the most sensible member of the team, sighed. “Agreed, Boss. But I suggest we bring a map, proper gear, and an emergency plan.” “Excellent!” Carla replied. Fernando, settled on the sofa, didn’t even look up. “I suggest we bring a helicopter. And a will.” The next day, João showed up equipped with boots, a backpack, and eleven energy bars. “I’m ready! Where’s the mountain?” “Right in front of us, genius!” Carla retorted. Five minutes later, João was clinging to a rock, screaming that the mountain was moving. Ivan tried to stay calm, while Carla blew her whistle, issuing orders that no one could hear. Jacks, full of excitement, began pulling João along by his leash. Fernando, who had been dragged along against his will, watched it all with disdain. “Extraordinary. We haven’t even started the climb, and we already have a panicked mountaineer, a psychologist who needs therapy, and a boss trying to issue a fine to a mountain!” Carla took a deep breath. “Tomorrow, we’re going for a nice, quiet walk!” João smiled. “With some climbing along the way?” “JOÃO, YOU ARE GOING TO WALK UP… A SINGLE STEP!” Mafia Report: the mountain remains exactly where it was, the boss’s patience has vanished, and Ivan is already looking into a vacation on an island with no mountains, no coffee, and—most importantly—no João Milho! 🤣☕⛰️ Carla Milho, Boss of the Coffee Club Mafia ☕🫡😅
The problem arises when “a little bit” turns into “almost nothing,” yet we still expect others to throw a celebration. Let’s be honest: some crumbs wouldn’t even be enough to feed a tiny bird! 🤭

Crumbs don’t feed anyone! 😂❤️
In life, it’s the little things that make the difference: a gesture of affection, a kind word, a bit of attention, or someone remembering us without needing a special occasion. You don’t need to offer the Moon and the stars—besides, given today’s prices, that would be quite an undertaking! 😂 All it takes is sincerity, respect, and a desire to care. The problem arises when "a little bit" turns into "almost nothing," yet we still expect others to throw a celebration. Let’s be honest: some crumbs wouldn’t even be enough to feed a tiny bird! 🤭 May we always have the humility to value small gestures, but also the common sense to realize that we all deserve more than something that leaves us constantly wanting. Because true value has never been about quantity; it’s about intention. And when even the intention is missing, no amount of a sense of humor can work miracles! ❤️😂

Capítulo 179 — Super-Jacks e o Ataque dos Eletrodomésticos! 🤣🔥
— rugiu Fenando. Alberto, a flutuar junto ao teto, desatou a rir.🤣🤣 — RISOS SUSPEITOS DETETADOS! — gritou Jacks. Saltou para apanhar o fantasma, atravessou-o e ficou abraçado à cortina. — Apanhei-te! — Isso é uma cortina, Jacks! — Excelente disfarce, Alberto! — Estou bem! — SUPER-JACKS NUNCA DESISTE! — gritou o cão, ainda dentro do frigorífico. — EXIJO UMA MEDALHA E DOZE BOLACHAS! 💭Pensamentos da irmandade 🐱Fenando: «Se o homem do anel aparecer, entrego-lhe o Jacks. After saving Fenando, Jacks decided he was the greatest superhero in the universe. He donned a towel as a cape and announced: — SUPER-JACKS IS ON DUTY! NO ONE MOVES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION! He leaped to catch the ghost, passed right through him, and ended up clinging to the curtain. — Gotcha! — That’s a curtain, Jacks! — Excellent disguise, Alberto! Meanwhile, the Cool Girl appeared with a tray of cookies. Jacks’s eyes went wide. — SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS IN SIGHT! EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR! He threw himself at the tray. Cookies went flying, Fenando tried to save one, Alberto started levitating teacups, and the Cool Girl simply stood there, contemplating the destruction. — I’m going to need a vacation… and a new house! Suddenly, the refrigerator door swung open. Jacks let out a cry: — THE FRIDGE IS ESCAPING! He hurled himself against the door and ended up trapped inside. — I’m fine! — came a voice from inside. — Someone bring me a cookie! Fenando adjusted his glasses. — Conclusion: the man with the ring remains a mystery, but the real danger in this house wears a towel as a cape. The urge to always want more 😅
Sometimes, we spend so much time looking at what we’re missing that we forget to appreciate what we already have. We crave what’s far away, dream about what hasn’t arrived yet—and once we finally get it, before long, we’re already longing for something else. We’re funny creatures: never completely satisfied! 😂 Perhaps the secret isn’t to stop dreaming, but to learn to value what’s already part of our lives—without waiting for it to disappear before realizing its true importance. After all, life doesn’t have to be perfect to hold wonderful things. And it’s best not to put off happiness while waiting for a "better" scenario… because, before you know it, the present has already become the past. "A Miúda Gira" (The Cool Girl) also has her days where she wants to change everything, but she’s learning that, sometimes, the best parts of life are right in front of us. We just need to look away from the shop window! 😉
Jacks arrived carrying a biscuit that no one had given him.
“Jacks, where did that come from?”
He wagged his tail. Case closed, as far as he was concerned. 😂
Abanou a cauda. Caso encerrado, segundo ele. A Consuela recuou. — Eu sabia! — perguntei. — Prefiro não falar sobre isso! — Claro — resmungou a Consuela. Alberto: continua a esconder segredos. Portanto, estamos tramados! 🤣

The Chronicles of a Cool Girl — Chapter 157 🧺 A Picnic with a Side of Trouble! 🤣 Consuela packed the picnic basket as if she were preparing for war. “Sandwiches, water, napkins, and a healthy dose of suspicion! You never know what Francisca might be cooking up… literally!” Fenando showed up with his whiskers perfectly groomed, ready to investigate, while Jacks arrived carrying a biscuit that no one had given him. “Jacks, where did that come from?” He wagged his tail. Case closed, as far as he was concerned. 😂 We arrived at the park, and Francisca greeted us with a smile that was just a little *too* friendly. “I’ve prepared a little surprise!” She placed a bottle filled with a golden liquid right in the middle of the picnic blanket. Consuela recoiled. “I knew it! A normal picnic involves orange juice, not glowing potions!” Fenando sniffed the bottle and immediately backed away. “It doesn’t even smell like fish!” “Thanks for the scientific analysis, Sherlock!” I replied. Just then, I heard Alberto’s distressed voice: “Francisca, please tell me you didn’t bring *that*!” “What’s wrong with the bottle?” I asked. “I’d rather not talk about it!” “Right,” Consuela grumbled. “In this house, whenever someone doesn’t want to talk, it usually means we’re about to run into trouble!” Suddenly, the mysterious flower we’d left back at home began to play a melody. Jacks let out a howl. Fenando tumbled off the picnic blanket, and Consuela jumped to her feet, shouting: “I came here to eat sandwiches, not to attend a song contest for haunted plants!” Francisca picked up the bottle and looked at me. “It’s time for you to discover Alberto Crespo’s secret.” I sighed. “Francisca, dear, can we discover the secret after lunch? This mystery isn’t exactly taking away my appetite!” I heard Alberto let out a deep sigh. Consuela grabbed her sandwich and declared: “Alright! First, we eat. Then, we solve the mystery. And if anyone turns into a toad, consider yourself warned: I’m not taking you to the vet!” Francisca let out her sinister little giggle. And I was certain of one thing: this picnic was going to be the talk of the town! 📢Consuela’s Report Francisca: suspicious until proven otherwise. Golden bottle: do not drink, sniff, or befriend. Jacks: stole a cookie. Fernando: fell over and called it an “investigation.” Alberto: still hiding secrets. Pretty Girl: more concerned with lunch than the end of the world. Conclusion: next time, the picnic will be in the backyard, and only normal people are allowed. In other words—we’re doomed! 🤣
There are times to keep pushing, times to change course, and moments when it’s best to just take a deep breath and stop overcomplicating things that are already complicated by nature. 😂

Versão em inglês
Life is also made up of trial and error! 😂
Things don’t always go the way we expect. Sometimes we get it right; other times, we learn the hard way! The key is not to treat every stumble like a Greek tragedy. There are times to keep pushing, times to change course, and moments when it’s best to just take a deep breath and stop overcomplicating things that are already complicated by nature. 😂 After all, no one has an instruction manual for life. We’re all just learning, improvising, and—every now and then—pretending we know exactly what we’re doing! Perhaps the secret lies in taking life just seriously enough, not taking ourselves too seriously, and never losing the ability to laugh along the way. Besides, the world already has more than enough drama as it is! 😉
