Sounds simple, right? That is, until someone says something that makes you want to write a whole thesis, fire back with 47 messages, and even put together a PowerPoint presentation. 🤣
Quanto a falar menos… bem… estou a trabalhar nisso. Devagarinho.

Six habits and a very serious attempt to be happy😇🙏
They say that happy people share a few habits: they learn something new every day, talk less, help more, brush off trivial nonsense, laugh a lot, and feel no need to go around constantly proving their worth.
Sounds simple, right? That is, until someone says something that makes you want to write a whole thesis, fire back with 47 messages, and even put together a PowerPoint presentation. 🤣
But perhaps happiness really does lie in simplification.
Learning, helping, laughing, choosing your battles more wisely, and realizing that not everything deserves your energy. Because, let’s be honest, some nonsense only survives because we give it a stage.
As for talking less… well… I’m working on that. Slowly but surely. No rush. Let’s not expect miracles from a "cool girl" (*miúda gira*)! 🤣
Deep down, maybe being happy isn’t about having a perfect life. Maybe it’s about learning to live the imperfect life we have a little bit better. ❤️
When the Cool Girl and Alberto arrived in the backyard, they stood completely frozen.
Consuela was clucking like a chicken! 🐔
“Cluck-cluck-cluck-cooo!”
Jacks was following her around as if he were a giant chick.

And Fenando had climbed onto a chair, acting just like a monkey! 🐒
Capítulo 162 — O Pombo de Francisca e o Quintal dos Animais! 🤣
A manhã estava tranquila no quintal. — perguntou a Miúda Gira. — Infelizmente… estás! O pombo levantou voo. A Miúda Gira levou as mãos à cabeça. — Pronto! 🐔 Jacks: pintainho XXL. 🐤 Fenando: macaco sem licença. 🐒 Francisca: cada vez mais sinistra! 🐦 The Chronicles of a Cool Girl🥰❤️ Chapter 162 — Francisca’s Pigeon and the Animal Backyard! 🤣
It was a quiet morning in the backyard. Consuela was tending to the plants, Fenando was grooming his whiskers, and Jacks was trying to help… without much success! 😂 Suddenly, a pigeon landed on the wall and released a strange dust into the air. “Achoo!” sneezed Consuela. Fenando and Jacks inhaled the dust, too. And the effect was immediate! When the Cool Girl and Alberto arrived in the backyard, they stood completely frozen. Consuela was clucking like a chicken! 🐔 “Cluck-cluck-cluck-cooo!” Jacks was following her around as if he were a giant chick. “Peep! Peep!” 🐤 And Fenando had climbed onto a chair, acting just like a monkey! 🐒 “Ooh-ooh! Aah-aah!” “Alberto… am I really seeing this?” asked the Cool Girl. “Unfortunately… you are!” The pigeon took flight. Consuela chased after it, clucking away; Jacks followed Consuela, peeping; and Fenando went bounding along. The Cool Girl clutched her head in her hands. “Great! Now I’ve got a chicken-woman, a chick-dog, and a monkey-cat!” Alberto sighed. “I did warn you that Francisca was trouble…” “Alberto, right now what I need is a veterinarian, a doctor, and a vacation!” 🤣🤣🤣 📋 Consuela’s Report 📝 Pigeon: highly suspicious! 🐦 Consuela: temporary chicken. 🐔 Jacks: XXL chick. 🐤 Fenando: unlicensed monkey. 🐒 Francisca: getting more sinister by the minute! Conclusion: as of today, no pigeon gets into this yard without showing identification! 🤣
“Stand by Me”:
— When the night has come… and the coffee is strong… stand by meeeee! ☕🎤
Carla’s jaw dropped.
— João, is that a song, or an international plea for caffeine?
Gian, absolutely thrilled, saw the perfect opportunity.
— IVAAAAN! Come dance with me!
Me: — When the night has come… and the coffee is strong… stand by meeeee! — STAND BY MEEEEEE… E NÃO ME TIRES O CAFÉ! 🤣☕

The Coffee Club Mafia Chronicles — Stand by Me… But with Caffeine! 🤣
After the fashion show organized by Gian, the Coffee Club Mafia was still trying to regain its collective sanity. But João Milho decided it was time to liven things up. He grabbed an imaginary microphone and, with total conviction, began to belt out his own unique version of "Stand by Me": — When the night has come… and the coffee is strong… stand by meeeee! ☕🎤 Carla’s jaw dropped. — João, is that a song, or an international plea for caffeine? Gian, absolutely thrilled, saw the perfect opportunity. — IVAAAAN! Come dance with me! Ivan looked at her, then at the makeshift dance floor, and immediately sensed the danger. — No way! I’m in a yoga session with Boss Carla! Carla turned around slowly. — Yoga? Since when? — Since right now, Boss! Take a deep breath… inhale… exhale… and please, don’t make me dance! The two began contorting themselves into such bizarre positions that they looked like pieces of furniture trying to assemble themselves. Meanwhile, Fenando watched it all from the sofa, looking like a weary inspector. — Meow! Ivan translated: — Fenando says this is an embarrassment to the human species. Jacks, on the other hand, decided to join in. He started prancing around Gian, wagging his tail, fully convinced he was the lead dancer. Gian seized the moment and tried to teach him some choreography. The result: Jacks knocked over a chair, Fenando scrambled up onto the cupboard, and João kept on singing—even louder than before. — STAND BY MEEEEEE… AND DON’T YOU DARE TAKE MY COFFEE AWAY! Ivan, still in his yoga pose, opened one eye and muttered: “I’m in urgent need of a vacation. Preferably on an island with no people, no dogs, and—above all—no coffee machines.” Carla stood up, clapped her hands, and announced: “Excellent! Tomorrow, we have our dress rehearsal!” Fernando closed his eyes. Jacks barked. Gian smiled. And Ivan realized that, in this particular “mafia,” the one thing there was never a shortage of was coffee… because peace and quiet had been shown the door a long time ago! 🤣☕ Carla Milho, the boss of the Coffee Club mafia ☕🫡😅
After all, our minds already have enough to deal with without taking on extra responsibilities! 😂

There are things I no longer carry with me…😏
There comes a point when we realize that we don’t have to fix other people’s lives, solve every problem, or carry burdens that don’t belong to us. We stop wasting time dwelling on the past, trying to please everyone, or explaining choices that concern only us. We learn that saying "no" isn’t a lack of consideration, that we don’t always have to give in, and that taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish. We continue to care for, help, and worry about those dear to us, but we also realize that we can’t always be available to everyone else while remaining unavailable to ourselves. After all, our minds already have enough to deal with without taking on extra responsibilities! 😂 We don’t need to stop being who we are just to fit into other people’s expectations. Peace of mind deserves a place in our lives, too. That’s why there are things I’ve stopped doing—not because I think I’m better than anyone else, but because I’ve learned that I, too, deserve the same care I so often offer to others. And, let’s be honest: my peace of mind is no longer up for grabs! 🤣❤️
Jacks immediately raised a paw.

Capítulo 162- A Investigação, o Cão Desconfiado e o Fantasma Cantor! 🤣
Jacks levantou imediatamente a pata. Fenando começou a escrever freneticamente. — Excelente! Uma pista! Continua, Alberto! — Acho que era… O SOOOOLE MIOOOOO! — perguntou Fenando. — O meu crachá! Fenando levou as patas à cabeça. Alberto: «A segunda chave… o meu passado… o meu pai… O SOOOOLE MIOOOOO!» Continua… 😂🤫🤣👻

The Chronicles of Fenando, Jacks... and Alberto 😺🐶👻 Chapter 162 — The Investigation, the Suspicious Dog, and the Singing Ghost! 🤣
Following Alberto’s revelations, Sherlock Fenando decided to gather the brotherhood to organize the clues. He opened his inspector’s notepad and announced: “Alright, then! We have a mysterious father, a greedy business partner, a man with a suspicious ring, and a hidden invention. Finally, an investigation worthy of my talents!” Jacks immediately raised a paw. “But what if the man with the ring tries to steal our cookies?” Fenando stared at him, incredulous. “Jacks, we’re investigating a potential multi-million-dollar crime, and you’re worried about cookies?!” “Everyone has their own priorities!” Super-Jacks replied, looking very serious. Meanwhile, Alberto began to float around the room, appearing deep in thought. “I remember something… my father used to say the key was hidden in a place where no one would ever think to look…” Fenando began scribbling frantically. “Excellent! A clue! Go on, Alberto!” “I think it was… ‘O SOOOOLE MIOOOOO’!” Fenando dropped his pencil. “NO! Not again! One of these days, I’m going to investigate on my own. I’d rather interrogate a rock!” In the meantime, Jacks had already put on his superhero badge and was standing guard at the door. “No one gets in without authorization!” “And who gave you the authority to do that?” Fenando asked. “My badge did!” Fenando clutched his head with his paws. “I’m surrounded by oddballs! A ghost with no memory and a dog who mistakes a badge for a degree in security!” Suddenly, a faint noise came from the machine. The three of them froze. A new message appeared on the screen: "THE SECOND KEY IS CLOSER THAN YOU IMAGINE." Fenando approached slowly. "My dear friends… I think someone knows we’re here." Jacks swallowed hard. "I just hope they don’t know where we keep the cookies…" 💭 Thoughts from the brotherhood Fenando: "The investigation is moving forward. My sanity, unfortunately, is retreating." Jacks: "If anyone shows up, I’ll protect everyone… as long as they don’t ask me to put down the cookies." Alberto: "The second key… my past… my father… O SOOOOLE MIOOOOO!" To be continued... 🤣🤫😂👻
After all, maintaining one’s composure is a form of emotional intelligence. And let’s be honest: there are situations where a well-timed smile says far more than a half-hour-long speech.

Smiling is also a response 😁
There are moments when the best response is not to argue, explain, or try to make someone grasp something they likely never wanted to understand in the first place. Sometimes, a smile is enough. Not out of agreement—and certainly not out of naivety—but because some battles aren’t worth our time, and some people aren’t worth the toll they take on us. After all, maintaining one’s composure is a form of emotional intelligence. And let’s be honest: there are situations where a well-timed smile says far more than a half-hour-long speech. We don’t need to lose our manners, our patience, or our inner peace just because someone else has decided to put their own lack of common sense on full display. So, smile! Life is already complicated enough; there’s no need to add more trouble just because someone mistakes their own opinion for absolute truth. And if a smile isn’t quite enough, take a deep breath… because not everyone deserves to be privy to the full, unfiltered stream of your thoughts! 😁
“This is a violation of my artistic rights!”
“No, Gian! It’s an attempt to save this family’s sanity!” Ivan replied, already regretting that he’d ever learned to write.
Disciplina, Pergaminhos e Gente Maluca 🤣
Carla sorriu, ajeitou o uniforme e ordenou: — Muito bem! Operação seguinte: toda a gente a limpar a confusão! 🤣☕

The Chronicles of the Coffee Club Mafia— Discipline, Scrolls, and Crazy People 🤣
After the fashion show disaster, Ivan Milho decided the Mafia needed some order. He grabbed a scroll and wrote down a set of rules to keep Gian in check—she had been completely out of control! Official Regulations: Drinking coffee without Ivan’s authorization is prohibited. Organizing spontaneous fashion shows is prohibited. Shouting "I’m a star!" every five minutes is prohibited. Gian read the scroll and protested: "This is a violation of my artistic rights!" "No, Gian! It’s an attempt to save this family’s sanity!" Ivan replied, already regretting that he’d ever learned to write. Meanwhile, boss Carla Milho began a rigorous military-style training session. "JOÃO MILHO! ATTENTION!" João snapped to attention and began saluting a lamp. "I’ve got my eyes on the enemy, Boss!" "That’s a lamp, man!" Next up was Fenando, who was ordered to run five laps around the yard. The feline inspector yawned, lay down, and rolled over to expose his belly. "Meow!" "Translation?" Carla asked. Without even looking up, Ivan said: "He says he only works in exchange for chorizo." As for Jacks, he was ordered to take a combat stance. The rebellious blond boy lunged at the boss and started licking her face. "THIS IS MILITARY TRAINING, NOT A BIRTHDAY PARTY!" Twenty minutes later, João was completely lost, Fenando was fast asleep, Jacks was trying to eat the scroll, and Gian was off searching for coffee. Ivan looked at the team and shook his head: "Boss, with this crew, we couldn't even manage to keep control of a single teacup!" Carla smiled, adjusted her uniform, and commanded: "Alright, then! Next operation: everyone start cleaning up this mess!" At that moment, Fernando mysteriously vanished, Jacks took off running with a mop in his mouth, and João asked where the "off" button for the operation was located. Ivan picked up his quill again and added to the parchment: Rule number four: never—and I mean never—let Boss Carla come up with any ideas after her third cup of coffee! 🤣☕
Some dreams grow better in silence, some relationships don’t need witnesses, and some problems aren’t solved by a committee of armchair critics. 😂

Some things don’t need an audience 🤫
I’ve learned that not everything needs to be told, explained, or shared with the whole world. Some things are better kept in our own private corner, away from the prying eyes and opinions of others. Our fears, how much money we earn, our love lives, our big plans, and our family issues deserve a certain level of discretion. This isn’t because we have to live in the shadows, but because our lives don’t need to be an open book just to satisfy everyone else’s curiosity. Some dreams grow better in silence, some relationships don’t need witnesses, and some problems aren’t solved by a committee of armchair critics. 😂 And let’s be honest: there’s always someone ready to offer unsolicited advice—even when they can barely manage their own lives! Being discreet doesn’t mean being fake or distrustful of everyone. It’s simply recognizing that trust must be earned, that intimacy is valuable, and that not everyone needs to know every single chapter of our story. After all, we can be genuine people—with open hearts and ready smiles—without turning our lives into a live broadcast. The "cool girl" in our house believes that some things are meant to be shared, others are for discussing with those who truly care about us, and some things should simply stay between us and our pillow. At the very least, the pillow knows how to keep a secret! 🤣❤️

— Capítulo 161 🔔O desconhecido e o Bichi Bichi! 🤣
A Consuela suspirou. Só me falta aparecer a polícia! Abri a porta. — Bom dia, Carla. Finalmente encontrámo-nos. — Desculpe… conhece-me? O homem sorriu tristemente. — Quem? — perguntei, sentindo um arrepio. Ele olhou para mim. — A pessoa que todos julgam morta. A Consuela deixou cair o pano do pó. — Pronto! Jacks: continua no «Bichi Bichi Alberto». Alberto: calado. Situação gravíssima! Miúda Gira: precisa urgentemente de respostas. The doorbell rang, and I jumped on the sofa. Jacks barked at the door, and Consuela clutched her dust rag. "Nobody move! It might be the mysterious man!" Consuela peeked through the peephole, looking thoughtful. "My gut tells me this man is peaceful." "And is your gut usually right?" I asked. "Of course! It only failed once—when I thought Fernando was on a diet!" Sherlock Fernando observed the stranger and whispered to Jacks: "That face... it looks familiar..." Jacks’s eyes went wide, and he began barking down the hallway: "BICHI, BICHI, ALBERTOOOOO!" A loud crash echoed from the Great Beyond. "WHAT IS IT NOW?!" Alberto shouted. "There’s a man here! And Sherlock thinks he knows him!" "I said the face looked familiar! Don’t go making up evidence, you dog!" Consuela sighed. "We’ve got a suspicious detective, a barking dog, and a shouting ghost. All that’s missing now is the police!" I opened the door. Standing before me was a man with a serene expression and eyes full of secrets. "Good morning, Carla. We’ve finally met." "Excuse me... do you know me?" The man offered a sad smile. "I’ve known you since before you could remember me." Alberto fell silent—a silence so strange that even Fernando stopped grooming his whiskers. The man stepped inside and murmured: "I knew it was still here." "What was?" — I asked, feeling a shiver run down my spine. He looked at me. — The person everyone assumes is dead. Consuela dropped her dust cloth. — That’s it! I’m going to need a vacation, therapy, and a house with no doorbell! And I could only think of one thing: what if this man knew a secret that could change everything we thought we knew about Alberto? 📋 Consuela’s Report 📝 Mysterious man: polite, but full of secrets. Fernando: recognizes the face, but can’t explain why. Jacks: still at "Bichi Bichi Alberto." Alberto: silent. A very serious situation! Cool Girl: in urgent need of answers. Consuela: considering a move to an island with no doorbells. Conclusion: the man seems peaceful. But in this house, even peace comes with a side of mystery! 🤣
Emotions are like visitors: some arrive with flowers, others burst in unannounced, and then there are those that seem to bring suitcases and plan to stay! 😂
Emotions are like visitors: some arrive with flowers, others burst in unannounced, and then there are those that seem to bring suitcases and plan to stay! 😂 There are days filled with joy, and others marked by sadness, fear, or anxiety. And that’s perfectly okay. We don’t have to be in a good mood all the time, nor do we need to pretend we’re superheroes with our entire lives perfectly organized. The secret lies in acknowledging what we’re feeling—without judging ourselves—while remembering that having feelings isn’t a sign of weakness, and that not every emotion needs to take the driver’s seat. After all, while emotions may pass through us, we are the ones who decide the path. And when things get too confusing, let’s take a deep breath… or have a cup of coffee! I haven’t quite figured out if it actually solves problems, but it certainly helps to approach them with a bit more enthusiasm! 🤣
